‘Best Match Ever’ is under way, the chance for Barça fans to choose their favourite game of all time

The debate begins: which is best match in Barça history? To find out the answer the ‘Best Match Ever’ competition gets under way in which fans from around the world can choose their best ever FC Barcelona game and win prizes into the bargain.  

A grand total of 32 matches are up for the prize, all of which are available in their entirety on Barça TV+. The games will be matches up into pairs in a knockout tournament format, which one match going through to the next round until we are left with our two finalists.  

From Cruyff to Messi  

Which are the games that have a chance of making it to the final? The list of matches will be revealed as the ties progress but the presence of those games we all have in mind is guaranteed. The 5-0 win at the Bernabéu against Real Madrid featuring Johan Cruyff, the five victories in Champions League finals with Koeman, Eto’o, Xavi, Messi and co as the stars are just a few examples.  

Naturally, there will also be a selection of ‘Clásicos’ from the last decade such as the 5-0 and 5-1 wins at Camp Nou and the 6-2 win away at the Bernabéu, the game that features in the opening tie of the competition up against the 6-0 away win at San Mamés against Athletic in the 1990/91 season. 

Voting by tie and prizes to be won  

Following the model of the ‘Best Goal Ever’ competition in which fans chose Leo Messi’s goal against Getafe as the best in Barça history, each user can vote once per tie. To do so, all you have to is register free and then you will go into the draw where 10 lucky winners will take home a year’s subscription the CULERS Premium Membership scheme.
