Another international week is over and the players can now turn their full attention to this Saturday’s game with Getafe. Here’s a look back at how the Barça stars got on for their respective countries
The midfielder played 152 minutes of Spain’s trio of games: a 0-0 draw with Portugal, a 1-0 victory against Switzerland and a 1-0 loss to Ukraine.
He played all 90 minutes of the friendly with Portugal, but sat out the UEFA Nations League games with Switzerland and Ukraine.
The youngster appeared in the last two of Spain’s games and although he didn’t score, he thoroughly impressed and created all kinds of danger.
He scored the only goal of the game, from the penalty spot, as Argentina beat Ecuador 1-0, and then played a key role as his team came from behind to beat Bolivia 2-1, both games qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
He scored one of the goals in Brazil’s 5-0 rout of Bolivia and was highly active in an eventful 4-2 win in Peru. Again, both games were qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
Started Portugal’s friendly with Spain, which ended 0-0, came on towards the end of the UEFA Nations Cup game with France, another 0-0 draw, but was not involved in the 3-0 defeat of Sweden.
He played the full 90 as France thumped Ukraine 7-1, and did likewise in a 2-1 win in Croatia, but sat out the 0-0 draw with Portugal.
The striker scored the last of France’s seven goals against Ukraine, played 90 minutes of the scoreless encounter with Portugal and then scored a fantastic opening goal in the 2-1 win over Croatia.

The Dutch midfielder played both of his country’s UEFA Nations League games, a 0-0 draw with Bosnia & Herzegovina (0-0) and another draw, 1-1, with Italy. Holland also lost 1-0 in a friendly with Mexico, but he was not involved in that game.
The European Championship playoff with Northern Ireland went to extra time and penalties, which ended in Bosnia missing out on a place in the finals. The Barça stars played all 120 minutes of that game, followed by 75 minutes of the 0-0 draw with Holland but had to come off after 33 minutes of the final game, which ended in 3-0 defeat to Poland.
The strike played all of Denmark’s 4-0 friendly win against the Faroe Islands, and also featured in back-to-back UEFA Nations League wins, both on the road, 3-0 in Iceland and 1-0 in England.
After Uruguay beat Chile 2-1 in their first World Cup 2022 qualifying match, the Barça centre back made his senior international debut in the second game, which ended in 4-2 defeat to Ecuador.
The goalkeeper did not feature in any of the Spain U21 team’s games.
Played a total of 106 minutes of Spain’s two European U21 Championship qualifiers, a 3-0 defeat of Kazakhstan and a 2-0 win in the Faroe Islands
Played 29 minutes of the game with Kazakhstan and came on for the second half of the game with the Faroes.
Montenegro drew 1-1 with Latvia in a friendly, and beat Azerbaijan 3-0 and lost to Luxembourg 2-1 in the UEFA Nations League but the Barça B didn’t get to play in any of those games.
