Three streaks to extend against Getafe

Three streaks to extend against Getafe

FC Barcelona visit one of the toughest away grounds in LaLiga this weekend, attempting to keep three runs going

Barça resume their LaLiga campaign this weekend against Getafe, the first of a run of seven games before the next international break. Besides it being an important opportunity to pick up a further three points, the match at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez could also see Ronald Koeman's men extend three different streaks.

15 games unbeaten against Getafe

Despite Getafe being one of the toughest teams to beat in LaLiga, Barça have a strong record against Getafe in recent years. They have gone a total of 15 games unbeaten against the Madrid-based side, including 12 wins and 3 draws. In this run they have scored 45 goals. Their last defeat to Los Azulones was a 1-0 loss in November of 2011.

Four consecutive wins at the Coliseum

Barça's good run against Getafe is even more evident when looking at their trips to the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez. The Blaugrana have won on their last four away games against Getafe, and there have always been two goals in those games. The most recent dropped points at the Coliseum were in December of 2014, in a 0-0 draw.

Four away wins in a row

Combining the end of last season (Villarreal, Valladolid and Alavés) and the current campaign (Celta Vigo), FC Barcelona have won their last four games away from the Camp Nou. The most recent three games have seen them keep clean sheets. Barça have not achieved five or more away wins in a row since 2017.
