Second half of La Liga: Best yet to come?
We have a look back over the last decade to see whether Barça traditionally perform better in the first or second leg of the championship
Sunday’s game at home to Granada is the first of the second half of the Liga season. So far so good, with Barça topping the table, as they have done in eight of the last eleven seasons.
However, at least of form over the last five years is anything to go by, the best has yet to come. In four of the last five seasons, Barça actually got more points in the second half of the season than they did in the first, as the following table shows:
