Barça B took the three points in the Catalan derby (2-1) against Lleida Esportiu in the Miniestadi. The scorers for Barca were Carles Pérez (min 40) and Collado in the last minute of the match.
In the first part of the game, through control and possession of the ball, García Pimienta’s Blaugranes came closest to opening the scoring through the inspirational Carles Pérez. However, the good performance of visiting keeper, Pau Torres, along with some defensive solidity, kept the match goalless.
In the final stretch of the first half, a magnificent piece of play from the hosts allowed Carles Pérez to take advantage from outside the area (1-0, min 40).
Just three minutes into the second half, an individual play by Joan Oriol handed Lleida the equaliser (1-1). Barça quickly recovered and hit the post twice in quick succession.
In the final moments, the visitors have had a great opportunity to take the three points, but Iñaki Peña saved the day. Barça broke straight down the other end and Collado’s cool finish gave the Blaugranes the victory.
