A great win for Barça B in the Municipal de Linarejos stadium against Linares Deportivo on Albert Capellas' debut as coach. It needed a last minute own goal to hand the blaugranes all three points after Linares had equalised just a few minutes earlier.
Capellas' team dominated the early exchanges and there were chances for Jutglà to put Barça ahead. However, Barça were not at their best when it came to finishing and the side went in at the break goalless.
In the second half Linares threatened more than in the opening period coming forward but it was Barça B who took the lead on 56 minutes when Aranda beat keeper Ernestas to make it 1-0.
Matheus had a chance to make it 2-0 for Barça but failed to find the back of the net with Linares coming back into the game. Iñaki Peña made a great stop to deny Fran Lara but could do nothing to stop Etxaniz's header from making it 1-1 with just four minutes left in the game.
Barça B set out about chasing a winner immediately and they had their reward in the 89th minute when Aranda's cross was turned past his own keeper by defender Josema. A nerve wracking victory that gives Barça B a total of 16 points from 10 games so far this season in the league.
