CF Peralada 1-4 Barça B: Still improving

Barça B made it two wins out of two in the preseason, this time 4-1 at Peralada, with goals from Reis, Lucas, Miranda and Maia in a dominant performance as the side gets into shape for the start of official competition on October 18.

With Álex Ruiz, Balde, Arnau Comas, Labinot, Hiroki and Álvaro Sanz all out through injury and Ramos Mingo, Konrad and Arnau Tenas playing with the first team, it was never going to be easy, and Igor getting injured after 10 minutes and Casanova heading the home side into the lead didn’t help matters either.

But a goal from outside of the area by Reis levelled things before the break, and the game was eventually settled by three goals in the last ten minutes, a long range effort from Lucas, a fine chipped goal from Miranda and Maia finally getting on target after previous chances had gone begging.

There’s another friendly to come on Saturday, this time against l'Escala.
