The UEFA Youth League match between Barça and Feyenoord, corresponding to the opening round of the competition and originally scheduled for Wednesday 9 September at 12 noon at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, has been postponed due to the forecast of heavy rain and severe weather in Catalonia over the coming hours.

The decision was taken in light of the weather forecast and the warning issued by the Catalan Government’s Civil Protection authorities, who have activated the INUNCAT flood emergency plan at alert level due to the heavy rainfall expected on Wednesday.

With the safety of everyone involved in mind, the decision has therefore been taken to postpone the game against the Dutch side. The match will now be played on Thursday 10 September at 9.30am CEST.
