Barça’s history in Barcelona, now available through Spotify

FC Barcelona fans around the world can now listen to Barça’s history via the Club’s official profile on Spotify. Covering the almost 125 years of institution’s history, this audible series contains 11 different episodes that examine a number of locations in the Catalan capital, while becoming the first podcast featuring proprietary content/no music on the platform.

Also available through the Club’s website, these audible stories point to periods and legendary locations, such as the first grounds on Calle Industria and in Les Corts for example, and other historical sites during the early years, through to the salvation of the Club’s heritage during the Spanish Civil War, or the birth of the concept ‘culers’ and the slogan 'More than a Club'. Each audio lasts 4-6 minutes.

Publishing these podcasts about the Club’s history aims to engender interest among fans on introducing some of the main periods for an over one hundred year old institution. They can also raise interest about visiting the Museum at Spotify Camp Nou among the millions of FC Barcelona fans worldwide.
