New Laporta era features in BARÇA MAGAZINE

FC Barcelona members can now read the latest edition of BARÇA MAGAZINE, which the club has sent via a special Infosocios. It is also available via the Members app and on the club website and can be viewed on any device, including PC, tablet and mobile phone.

Issue 106 mainly focuses on Joan Laporta’s election victory on March 7, looking at the event itself and its huge turnout with the presence of polling booths outside of Barcelona, and profiling the winning candidate and his speech at his inauguration at the Camp Nou ten days after winning at the polls.

The magazine also looks at a new Messi record – that of becoming the player with the most appearances in club history – as well as examining Ronald Koeman’s tactical versatility and an exclusive interview with women’s star Graham Hansen.

Basketball also gets plenty of coverage, what with the return of Pau Gasol, as well as the re-appearance of Charles Thomas, whose whereabouts was unknown for 40 years. Former team-mates like Norman Carmichael, Manolo Flores, Aíto García Reneses, Adolfo Sada and coach Xabier Añua look back at the centre with the spectacular jumping style.

The gradual return of fans to the Estadi Johan Cruyff and Palau Blaugrana, and reopening of the club museum both in physically and virtually via the Camp Nou Live Stream Tour are other subjects covered in the latest issue.
