Barça wins one of the prestigious Promax Europe Awards 2020 for its innovative audiovisual identity

Brand design applied to Barça TV+, Barça TV and the club’s social media based on the con-cept of the lines of ball movement that feature in the team’s style of play

FC Barcelona has been recognised at the prestigious Promax Europe Awards 2020 for its new audiovisual identity that was run in the 2019/20 season and is based on the lines of ball movement in the Barça style of play. 

The club took the Silver award in the General Brand Design Package: Channel, Network or Platform category, in which it was competing against different projects from the audiovisual sector all around Europe. 

The jury of the Promax Europe Awards 2020 were impressed by the innovative idea based on the unique FC Barcelona style of play, which uses passing lines and ball movements over an image of the field of play to create different resources like static posters and animated pieces to open or close the various audiovisual products created by the club both for its own Barça TV channel and for its Barça TV+ digital streaming service, as well as its different social media channels and accounts. 

Every year, the Promax Europe Awards recognise design and marketing excellence in the entertainment sector throughout Europe. The Promax association brings together important, prestigious organisations in the fields of promotion, advertising and innovation on social media on a worldwide scale.
