This Friday a four-team tourney in Sao Paulo was announced for next December 15 involving the Barça Legends, host club Sao Paulo, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. José Edmílson was at the presentation on behalf of Barça Legends, while Zé Roberto was there for Bayern, Ewerthon for Borussia and Diego Lugano for Sao Paulo.
The game is being used to introduce the new Sao Paulo veterans team. It will be the first of the season for Albert Ferrer and his team after games last term in India, Morocco and against Inter Milan.
The games will be played as 25 minute halves each one, and the opening game will be between Sao Paulo and Bayern Munich. The Barça Legends go in the second semi against Borussia Dortmund – and in addition to the final there will also be a third-placed playoff, so all teams are guaranteed two games.
