Svetislav Pesic's side earned their third consecutive victory in the Euroleague to leave them with a balance of 9-7

Barça Lassa wiped the floor with Darussafaka Tekfen Istanbul 97-65 at the Palau Blaugrana, in the match corresponding to the 16th round of the Euroleague. Heurtel (18), Seraphin (12) and Blazic (10) helped the hosts to their ninth win in the competition.

The first game of the year at the Palau saw a Barça that were very solid in defence and who dominated the first stages of the game. In addition, their effectiveness in attack allowed Svetislav Pesic's side to arrive at the end of the first period comfortably ahead 29-16.

Impregnable defence

In the second quarter, the visitors’ attacking game was completely nullified as Barca Lassa stormed further ahead to reach half-time at 54-27. The match resumed with inaccuracy from both sides but a magnificent period from Heurtel, scoring nine points (and 18 in total), saw the healthy lead remain (73-45, min 30 ).

In the last period, the triples from Pangos and Kuric (84-47, min. 38) underscored a wonderful performance, leading to a 32-point win by the end of proceedings (97-65).
