The 28 year old Hungarian forward signs a three year contract and was named best defender in the Euroleague 2016/17

Adam Hanga will be an FC Barcelona Lassa player for the next three seasons. The Club and Saski Baskonia have reached an agreement for the player to join the blaugranes.

28 years old and 2.01m tall, Hange comes to Barcelona in the best form of his career after having been chosen in the best starting five of the 2016/17 Endesa League as well as the best defender in the 2016/17 Euroleague.

The Hungarian forward is a great team player with an excellent shot from the outside and a man who shine on offence and defence.

Hanga came to Spain in 2011 when he joined Bàsquet Manresa, staying for two seasons with the Catalan club and averaging 7.8 points per games in his first season and 11.7 in his second. Baskonia picked him up in 2013 and since then he has developed into one of the best forward in Europe.

In his first season in the Euroleague he averaged 5.6 points and 17 minutes per game. A season on loan at Avellino in Italy was followed by a surge in form on his return to Baskonia. In the Euroleague since then he has averaged more than 10 points a game and almost 12 in the ACB, leading him to be named in the best starting five of last season.
