By finishing ninth, Barça have earned the right to host this clash against the Serbian side at the Palau next Tuesday the 21st. If they win, Barça will continue their fight to reach the playoffs and will need to win a second and decisive game.
Olympiacos potentially after
That game would be away from home, on Friday the 24th, against the loser of the tie between Panathinaikos B.C. and AS Monaco Basket, who play in Athens. If Barça come through both games, they will secure a place in the EuroLeague playoffs proper, effectively as the eighth seed. That would set up a first-round clash with Olympiacos B.C., who finished top of the regular season.
