Six new signings presented

Nikola Kalinic, Jan Vesely, Oriol Paulí, Tomas Satoransky, Mike Tobey and Oscar da Silva joined the team's director, Josep Cubells, for a media session

After winning the Lliga Catalana, Thursday saw the team's new signings presented. Nikola Kalinic, Jan Vesely, Oriol Paulí, Tomas Satoransky, Mike Tobey and Oscar da Silva were officially presented as FC Barcelona players after making their debuts in the jersey.

The presentation took place at the Auditori 1899, alongside director responsible for basketball Josep Cubells, basketball manager Juan Carlos Navarro, technical secretary Mario Bruno Fernández, technical advisor Manuel Flores, ambassador Audie Norris, sports director Xavier Budó and head of sports management and operations Jordi Muñoz.

Josep Cubells emphasised that the aim is to "keep Barça at the highest possible level, to be competitive, and that people become fans of the team by winning as many trophies as possible". The team director also reminded of the investment into homegrown players in the first team: "We have more homegrown players than ever, who represent the present and future of our squad".

Wanting to win trophies

Nikola Kalinic, Jan Vesely, Mike Tobey and Oscar da Silva clearly stated that they want to win trophies with Barça. "I feel very proud, I know how big Barça is and I am also aware of our responsibility", explained Kalinic.

Vesely highlighted that "Barça is very big in every sport, we know we are coming here with the aim of winning everything". Mike Tobey wanted to big up the squad, stating “We have a great squad containing great players and great people, so we need to work together and I am sure we will have a great chance of achieving all our objectives”. Oscar da Silva's thought were along the same lines, stating he was "really wanting to win trophies".

Two back at Barça

Tomas Satoransky and Oriol Paulí are both starting their second spell with Barça. Satornasky is quite clear on his situation: “I want continue living the dream by wearing this great club's jersey after my experience in the NBA. I am mentally stronger and more assured after those six years, which will help us achieve our targets”.

Developed in the Club's youth system, Paulí is clearly very excited about returning: “I feel very happy and proud to come home. Everyone has welcomed me with open arms. I really want to work hard to continue making my mark and make the Culers proud”.
