Barça 80 - 104 Maccabi: Defeat to end the regular season

The Palau Blaugrana witnessed a quality encounter between Barça and Maccabi in the regular season in the Euroleague. Both teams showed their quality but it was the team from Tel Aviv who took the win. Saras Jasikevicius' and his team will next face Bayen Munich in the quarter finals of the competition. 

An electric start to the game saw the side exchange baskets in the first quarter with Abrines, Mirotic, Exum and Sanli impressing for the home side. However, Maccabi's greater precision in the shot allowed them a 27-23 lead at the conclusion of the first period. 

That lead was extended in what remained of the first half with the team from Tel Aviv 57-46 up at the break.

The Barça man Nnaji did his best to get his side back into the game in the third quarter with the help of Mirotic. Going into the fourth quarter, Barça were still in the game at 76-68 down. 

However, Maccabi kept their form in the final quarter to hand the blaugranes a defeat in the final game of the Euroleague regular season.
