Another important win in Europe. In Lyon, France, Barça beat Asvel Villeurbanne 80-60 in the Euroleague to record their second win of the week in the competition after Wednesday's impressive triumph over CSKA Moscow. Laprovittola was the star man with 25 points in the game.
Level beginning
The game began with both sides exchanging baskets before Barça took a commanding 19-9 lead at the end of the first quarter. Saras Jasikevicius' team then raced into a 15 point lead before a come back from the home side cut the deficit to just three points at the break at 31-28.
In the third quarter three pointers from Mirotic and in particular from Laprovittola handed the initiative back to the visitors who led 62-47 going into the final quarter. Laprovittola scored 14 points in the final quarter to help Barça to a comfortable 80-60 win to round off an excellent week for the blaugranes.
