Saras and Pau Gasol meet again
The current coach and the high-profile new signing played for Barça together in the 2000/01 season
Pau Gasol’s return to Barça means a very special reencounter. The Catalan will be back with his teammate from the 2000/01 season, when they won the league and cup double under Aíto García Reneses. Jasikevicius was the guard and Pau Gasol was the MVP in both finals.
Two decades have passed and now they are back together, one as coach and one still as a player.

But the Lithuanian is not the only person that Pau Gasol knows from before.
