Acunsa GBC 68-110 Barça: Record victory

Barça played wonderfully well for the entire match and earned their sixteenth victory in the domestic competition

Barça were incredibly dominant against Acunsa GBC (68-110) in a match where the whole team managed to score at least one basket, and the result was a record for the Catalans this season.

Great success with the triple

Barça quickly went 0-6 ahead but were soon pegged back thanks to Tomàs' triple (6-6). However, with just eight minutes gone, Barça had opened up an 11 point gap (12-23) which was only slightly reduced before the end of the first period (21-28).

In the second period, it was all Barça, Jasikevicius' side making 12 of 14 triples to allow them to reach half-time 26 points ahead (36-62).

An incredible triumph

In the second half, Barça were able to widen the gap further. By the end of the third quarter, every player in the team had scored and, incredibly, Barça had only missed 5 shots in 30 minutes. With more than 40 points advantage at the end of the third period (52-94), the blaugranes could afford to ease off a little. The final score of 68-110 was a record for this season and Barça's 16th victory in 19 league games.
