Barça 92-82 Baxi Manresa: Into the final

Jasikevičius' side certify passage to Sunday's Catalan league Final, where Andorra stand between them and the trophy

Jasikevičius got to savour his first victory at the Palau Blaugrana as Barça coach as the blaugrana won their Catalan League semi-final against Baxi Manresa: 92-82. In a tight encounter, Oriola led the scoring with 17 points, and Andorra now await in the final.

The home side quickly went 3-11 in front of a sea of empty seats, but soon regrouped to narrow the gap to two at the d of the first period.

Three pointers were the key to getting Barça in front at last, with the whole team contributing. Of the 12 players that appeared in the first half, 10 managed to notch up points, and Bolmaro would also score in the second.

Nikola Mirotic led Barça’s storm in the third quarter, but Manresa always seemed to find an answer. Even when the home side managed to lift their lead into double figures at 60-50, their guests refused to give up.

With Oriola and Heurtel highly active, Barça kept the scores coming, with Calathes busy supplying them with assists, and Barça eventually took the win by ten points.

The final is on Sunday at 9.30pm CET, also at the Palau Blaugrana.
