Barça 103-84 Alba Berlin: Another European win

Three wins out of the three as the Palau hosts its first Euroleague game of the season

Barça got their home Euroleague schedule off to a fine start by beating Alba Berlín (103-84), bouncing back from a fine start by the Germans to go 3-0 in the competition with Cory Higgins leading the scoring with 22 points.

It was 3-pointer accuracy that put the visitors into an early lead (19-25), but Mirotic and Higgins can also shoot threes and Barça were soon back in the game in the second period, despite all kinds of trouble from the visiting Giedraitis (15 points in the first half):.

Mirotic continued to excel after the restart, and domination of rebounds at both ends soon saw the blaugrana 13 points to the good (63-50). Supreme counter-attacking, dominance on the paint, and as they continued racking up the points to +20 there could surely only be one winner.

The attack kept going, the defence stayed sold and Barça could eventually celebrate a three-figure score. Things are looking sweet in Europe!
