Barça had a chance to win until the end but fell in a game that was close throughout

Barça Lassa fell out of first place in the Liga Endesa on Friday night after falling at home to Valencia Basket, 78-72. With the top three teams separated by just one game, the loss drops Barça to third at 24 and 7, the same record as Baskonia, but behind them on point differential. This is the first time Barça are not in first since round nine.

Valencia were led by Bojan Dubljevic, who scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds. The game was even through the first half, but Valencia broke away in the third quarter.

Barça were led by Thomas Heurtel, who scored a game-high 18 points and had six assists. Pierre Oriola and Jaka Blazic also reached double figures in scoring for the Catalans.
