FC Barcelona and OPPO made official this Thursday an expansion of their sponsorship agreement that will give the smartphone maker rights in Indonesia for the next two years.

This strategic partnership was announced at a press conference in Jakarta on Thursday, which was attended by FC Barcelona’s Asia Pacific Managing Director, Xavier Asensi and the CEO of OPPO in Indonesia, Ivan Lau.

The sponsorship agreement between FC Barcelona and OPPO covers different areas, such as football events, activities for supporters, television advertising, and the launch of special edition mobile devices and accessories. In addition, the OPPO logo will be displayed with LED light boards at Camp Nou.

This July is the one-year anniversary of the signing of the global agreement between FC Barcelona and OPPO. To celebrate the partnership, OPPO has launched a series of special edition smartphones. The F1 Plus FCB Edition, in the Club’s traditional Blaugrana colours, has a special FC Barcelona-themed interface, an exclusive body featuring laser-engraved signatures of five of the team’s players, and an 18 karat gold-plated Club logo on the back of the phone.
