Night time view of the new Camp Nou / FCB

In a two-period budding process in collaboration with the Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya, the international tender gets under way from June for the new Camp Nou and Palau Blaugrana projects. The jury will be made up of five members of FC Barcelona, four members of the Board and an architect, plus three members of the Col·legi d’Arquitectes and one from Barcelona City Council. There will also be a nine-man technical committee made up of seven representatives of FC Barcelona and two of the Col·legi d’Arquitectes.

The first period runs until July, and is the pre-qualification stage for the different proposals, which will be required to follow a list or orders regarding regulations and criteria for selection, and which will be published on the club website on June 5. From August through to September, the second phase consists of a tender of design ideas. Each of the proposals will be reviewed by the technical committee and the jury is expected to announce the winners of the two tenders in December.
