Acuerdo del FC Barcelona con Tenys Pé Baruel

[[DES_1]]FC Barcelona has reached a sponsorship agreement with Tenys Pé Baruel to make the number one foot deodorant used by Neymar Jr and the Brazilian national team an Official Club Sponsor in 2015. The agreement continues the Club’s policy of forming partnerships with some of the world’s leading brands, in this case incorporating its first ever Brazilian sponsor.

The agreement was announced this Monday morning at a press conference held at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and attended, in representation of FC Barcelona, by the vice-president for economy Javier Faus and first team player Neymar Jr, and for Baruel, its president Silvio Roberto de Moraes, and its CEO Daniel Tiraboschi. The Brazilian striker will be the main spokesman for the partnership throughout its duration.

This is also the first sponsorship contract to result from the agreement signed recently with NR Sports, which has managed Neymar Jr’s image rights since 2006 and though which this company is exclusively responsible for seeking sponsors in Brazil. The fact that Baruel also sponsors the Barça striker will generate unique synergies in a territory where FC Barcelona already has a huge following on social networks.

Barça has almost five million Brazilian Facebook followers, making it the Club’s third biggest country, after Indonesia and Mexico, on this social network, while this country’s Twitter account is about to reach 200,000 followers, making it one of the fastest growing of the Club’s fifteen accounts. In October 2013, Barça also launched a version of its official website designed especially for the Brazilian market (www.fcbarcelona.com.br).

Through this agreement, Baruel acquires the right to use the Barça brand in communication and marketing, hospitality and image association campaigns. The foot hygiene company is also planning to launch a specially developed line of products to tie in with the partnership.
