Carles Puyol and Club director Ramon Pont, attend Miki Roqué's commemorative ceremony

The ceremony was hosted at Tremp, where a plaque was unveiled in memory of the player who passed away last summer

Carles Puyol was in attendance at the commemorative ceremony for Miki Roqué, who passed away last year after battling cancer. A personal friend to the first team captain, Puyol represented FC Barcelona along with Club director and vice president of the FC Barcelona Foundation, Ramon Pont.

During the ceremony a plaque commemorating the memory of Miki Rodqué was unveiled in the Parque del Pinell de Tremp, which gives access to the football pitch of Pedrasanta. In addition to FC Barcelona, the ceremony was attended by representatives and footballers from Betis, Liverpool, Lleida, Xerez Cartagena and Oldham Athletic. All of the clubs' crests feature on the commemorative plaque.
