The reigning champion of Formula 1, Sebastian Vettel, watched the match between FC Barcelona and Valencia CF at the Camp Nou from the President’s box. This is the second time the Red Bull driver has visited the Azulgrana stadium, however it was his first time watching a football match from the honoured vantage point. Vettel, in Barcelona for the second practice session at Montemeló ahead of the Formula 1 World Championship, came to the Camp Nou to catch a FC Barcelona match.

Vettel was elated to be able to watch Barça’s first team. Furthermore, he never stopped taking pictures of the stadium and the main protagonists on the pitch with his mobile phone. The Formula 1 driver is a fervent follower of football and his allegiance lies with Eintracht Frankfurt, currently top of the table in the German second division.

Before kickoff, Sandro Rosell gave a Barça jersey to the two-time world champion with driver’s name on it. Manel Arroyo was also present.
