FC Barcelona equal last year’s record of 16 titles in a single season

With the winning of the Lliga Endesa by Xavi Pascual’s basketball team, FC Barcelona equalled the 16 trophies they took last year and they could even better that if Marc Carmona’s Futsal team are able to lift their fourth title of the season to make it 17 for the Club as a whole.

Guardiola closes era with four titles

Pep Guardiola rounded off his time as manager with a Spanish Cup win to add to the Spanish and European Super Cup and World Club Cup titles the team won earlier in the year.

Lliga Endesa, Spanish Super Cup and Lliga Catalana

The basketball section celebrated retaining the league title, beating Real Madrid in a thrilling final after their great rivals had taken the Cup at the Palau Sant Jordi earlier in the year. The League title made it three for the season, with the addition of the Spanish Super Cup and League Catalana.

Roller Hockey just miss out on clean sweep

In Gaby Cairo’s first season in charge and Beto Borregán’s swansong as a player, the team only missed out on the European League, losing to Liceo, in a campaign in which they won the League, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup.

Handball treble

Barça Intersport are enjoying a well deserved holiday after winning the league title in the last game of the season to add to the Copa Asobal and the League dels Pirineus taken earlier in the year.

Futsal set to take one more title

Marc Carmona’s side are the only one of the professional sections who are still in with an opportunity to take another title this season – still in the fight for the league title with El Pozo Múrcia and with the chance to retain their title next weekend. That would make it four for the season, after the team let just one competition escape – the Spanish Super Cup - and took the Spanish Cup, the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Futsal Cup.

16 years of continuous success

Since the start of the 1996/97 season, the Club’s professional sections have won 173 titles of the 418 taken over the 113 years of their history - 41% - a sign that the Club is more alive than ever!

Women’s Team’s success

In addition to the men’s sections, the Club’s Women’s Football team, coached by Xavi Llorens, won the Catalan Championship to add to their League title, won for the first time in their history.
