To mark the Qatars inaugural National Sports Day which was established to encourage
the nation to get more active and to promote a healthy lifestyle, Qatar Foundation
for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), gave five lucky winners of a QF radio trivia contest the opportunity to attend an F.C. Barcelona match at
Camp Nou Stadium.

Mehsen Hamad Bagash, Ahmed Mohamed Al Khalaf, Sama Wael Saqer, Yousef Abdullah Al Reshidi and Tony Fares called in to QF Radios National Sports Day Show on 14 February to participate in a trivia contest related to the history of sports, sports
in Qatar, and football. Having answered the questions correctly, they were
automatically entered into a draw, with their names drawn on 15 February and live on
the air.

The goal of Qatars National Sports Day chimes closely with the objectives that QF
and FC Barcelona share of developing human potential using sports and education. QFs and FCBs partnership represents an opportunity to leverage shared values to improve
lives through the power of football. The partnership is the result of a sponsorship
agreement reached between Qatar Sports Investment and the club, bringing increased
focus on sports and youth development to Qatar.

Together, the organizations have plans to create joint programs that promote
education and sport, encourage a healthy lifestyle, and bring communities together.
The five lucky winners will have the chance to witness the results of healthy living
and dedication in sports by watching Barça-Malaga on May
2.

The physical wellbeing of Qatars population was officially recognized as a priority
with the issuing of Emiri Decree No. 80 2011, announcing that National Sports Day
was to take place on the second Tuesday of February every year.

As well as providing for a day of enjoyment, the Emiri Decree sought to raise
awareness of the importance of physical health for all citizens. This goal chimes
closely with the objectives that QF and FCB share in developing human potential
using sports and education.
