Old Estrella Damm Brewery
With a lengthy history of over 100 years, the Estrella Damm Antiga Fàbrica forms part of the historic and architectural memory of the city of Barcelona.
Its origins date back to 1905, when the search for a strategic location with easy access to water gave rise to the La Bohemia brewhouse, in the midst of Barcelona´s Eixample district. Generations of Barcelonians worked at the facilities, either directly or indirectly, and they have all played a part in the growth and evolution of the Mediterranean beer.
At the heart of the cultural centre and surrounded by the most emblematic and symbolic monuments, the Estrella Damm Antiga Fàbrica has become a benchmark cultural space in the city of Barcelona.
