Presentation Title: On Board Telemetry and social media impact.

Presentation Title

Data Telemetry and Content  an it’s impact on social networks.

Presentation synopsis:

In live events like ours (off shore sailing), it’s very important to show the user the information and content of the race almost in real time, for being able  to use “Telemetry” and “Content” technology runs an important role on our event. Knowing how the race situation is affecting our social networks behaviour in terms of us showing the information to the users, and the users reacting to whats happening on the race, will help us to take the right decitions.

We need to know how to manage the information received, being also able to react, send the right information and also give the users what they need or want (provide them what they are demanding), also gathering and knowing users reaction (understand what they want to consume) will help us to improve and give our audience what they want to consume.

This will help Volvo Ocean Race to improve our user engagement and increase our audience.
