Speaker Biography:

Alfonso Fernández has a degree in Economics from Oviedo University and a postgraduate in Marketing and Business Management from ESIC.
More than 15 years of experience in multinational companies such as Young & Rubicam, Mondelez, Kellogg's and Coca-Cola where he occupied several positions in marketing, trade marketing and communication.
Currently Alfonso leads Corporate Marketing department in Samsung Electronics. This team deals with media, creativity, content, e-commerce and crm, market research, sponsors and events and apps development for the entire CIA portfolio.
Furthermore, Alfonso has been awarded with an Eficacia Award for Best Professional Sub41 in 2015 and Best Marketing Professional Award by the Marketing Association of Spain in 2017.

How Samsung contributes with his technology to improve people life’s with relevant initiatives under the platform #TechnologyWithPurpose. In this specific case we will go deeper into blind cap device: the first swimming cap with technology incorporated to improve blind swimmers in their competition.
