Manel Arroyo (Vic, 10 May 1960: member number 100.759) is since 1992 Director General and shareholder in Dorna Sports & Moto GP, the organisers of the World Moto GP Championship. He is responsible for all media relationships for the organisation, principally the management of content, production, sales and distribution via various platforms. He began his career as a reporter at Radio Vic and then joined RNE. In 1986 he joined TVE, where he worked as a commentator of F1 and rugby and was also assistant director of the sports programme, ‘Estadio 2’. He left a year later and briefly worked for Cadena Ser before joining the Reial Automòbil Club de Catalunya RACC 1988 to head up the Press and Publications Department . He was a member of the team which designed and built the  Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and in 1991 helped organise the first Grand Prix at the circuit, as well as working to ensure the Rally of Catalonia formed a part of the FIA World Rally Championship. In the previous Board of Directors he was fifth vice president (responsible for the Area of Media and Communication) and following the elections of 18 July 2015, he is now fourth vice president and responsible for the Area of Media and Communication.
