PATTERN DESIGN is an architectural studio based in London and founded in 2009. It is projects, both national and international, cover a diverse range of areas such as sports, education, and residential and urban design. Pattern’s philosophy is based on an innovative method of parametric design in which nature and mathematics are fundamental pillars. Pattern Design have joined forces with the architect Enric Massip-Bosch, who has great experience working in Barcelona in various projects, one of which was the Torre Telefónica.

GMP + GCA Arquitectes

GERKAN, MARK UND PARTNER is a German studio with its base in Hamburg and who are specialists in sports architecture projects both in football stadiums and in multi-sports arenas. GMP have designed the Basketball Arena in Donguang, China and the Cristal Hall in Baku, Azerbaijan amongst other complex indoor projects. The local partner for GMP is the GCA studio who have solid experience in working in Barcelona having had a hand in the new corporate headquarters for Puig and for hotels such as Casa Fuster and Mirror.

HOK + TAC Arquitectes

HOK Architecture is one of the most important brands in the USA in terms of architecture and engineering with experience in projects of all natures all over the globe. HOK have worked on the American Airlines Arena in Miami, the Nationwide Arena in Ohio and the Stockton Arena in California. Furthermore, the HOK team were also the architects for the First Direct Arena in Leeds. The local element is provided by Eduard Gascón’s team who have vast experience in managing projects in Barcelona such as the award winning Parc del Turó de Can Mates, the Technological Centre in Manresa and various office buildings in the city.

MAKE + BCQ Arquitectes

MAKE is one of the architecture firms in London with greatest international reach having developed various projects of a striking nature all over the world. The team were involved in the development of the Copper Box Arena and the Dartford Dojo, both facilities used in the London Olympic Games. The local team accompanying MAKE are the Catalan studio, Baena Casamor Arquitectes, a company with experience of projects in Catalonia such as the Joan Maragall Library in Sant Gervasi, Barcelona, the Marina Forum building and various municipal sporting facilities.

Mangado Arquitectos + Bach Arquitectes + R.Sanabria Arquitectes + I.Paricio

This is a team composed of various national and local studios, all well known at a national and international level. The first is the studio of the architect Francisco Mangado who have developed projects of great beauty and architectural value such as the Baluarte in Pamplona and sporting projects such as the municipal swimming pools in Vigo and the football ground in Palencia. The second studio is Bach Arquitectes, a team who have various prestigious awards on their CV and who have been involved in projects such as the new headquarters of the Banc Sabadell in Sant Cugat. The third involved is led by Ramon Sanabria, a prestigious architect in Catalonia who has featured in projects such as the Instituto Dexeus in Barcelona and the new campus at ESADE in Sant Cugat. Finally, the architect Ignacio Paricio brings his detailed knowledge of construction systems which is evident in projects such as the Illa de la Llum in Diagonal Mar and sporting projects such as the Palacio Municipal de Deportes in Granada.

Wilkinson Eyre Architects + Alonso Balaguer Riera Arquitectes

Wilkinson Eyre are a firm of London architects who have developed various projects in different countries around the world. Within their sporting portfolio are projects such as the London 2012 Olympic Games Basketball Arena and the Liverpool Arena & Convention Centre. Their local partner is architect firm Alonso Balaguer Riera who bring a solid background in projects such as the offices at Viladecans Business Park and the Cima Wellness O2.
