Research, Development and Innovation

In this area the Foundation demonstrates its commitment to scientific progress and seeks to ensure that breakthroughs produced by research help to enhance the knowledge, health and welfare of society.

The Foundation has two lines of research in this field:

- Heart disease
- Muscle and tendon pathologies

In both cases research projects are being mapped out and developed in close partnership with FC Barcelona’s Medical Services.

In lockstep the Foundation is also driving the creation of forums, conferences and round tables to tackle issues connected with sport.
