1. What are the advantages of being an FCB member?

Members can buy tickets with special conditions, take part in draws, vote in elections, and much more.

2. What types of membership card are there? How much do they cost?

There are three kinds of membership card depending on age. To view prices, benefits and registration procedures, please click on the category you are interested in:

Registration of Baby member (from 0 to 1 year)

Registration of Child- Youth member (from 1 to 5 years and from 6 to 14 years)

Registration of Adult member (older than 15 years)

3. What is the veteran membership? How is requested? How is it renewed?

The veteran membership  is a free membership card. It can be requested by members that have completed 40 consecutive years as FC Barcelona members and are aged over 65 years.

The application must be made in person by the cardholder, presenting the properly filled in aplication form along with their national ID card. If the cardholder cannot come to our offices for reasons of health, it can be requested by a relative by providing, in addition to the membership card and national ID card, a certificate proving that the applicant member is still alive

4. What is the membership code? Is the same as the membership number?

For certain transactions by telephone or by email and also to access exclusive content for members on the website, the membership code may be requested.

Both the membership code and membership number appear on the membership card that is sent each year.

Remember that the membership number changes each year.

5. What is the PIN?

The PIN is the personal identification number assigned to each member. Unlike the membership code or number, the PIN does not change each year, and so the club will not send it with the new card during the renewal process.

It is a four-digit number that is needed to identify the member for security purposes when freeing seats and for certain other transactions.

Remember that it is the member’s obligation not to share this secret number. The club will accept no responsibility for changes or operations made by third parties to which the member may have provided their PIN. For security purposes, we recommend that you keep the written PIN separately from the membership card.

6. I have forgotten my membership code/PIN. How can I recover them?

If you need your membership code or number and do not have your card with you, you can check it via            Fc Barcelona Supporter web site.

Remember that for security purposes you will be asked a series of questions to verify your identity (national ID card, date of birth, etc)

7. How can I know whether my personal details are up to date?

As stipulated by article 11 of the Club Statues, two of the main obligations of members are: to provide and update a contact address; and to provide and update, if necessary, a bank account number. If you are not sure if you have informed the club of any changes of address, telephone numbers, emails, etc. you can contact the FC Barcelona Supporter Services Office.

8. How can I report a change of address or telephone to the club?

As stipulated by article 11 of the Club Statues, two of the main obligations of members are: to provide and update a contact address; and to provide and update, if necessary, a bank account number.

If any of this information changes over the course of a year, members must report this.

You can modify personal details (address, telephone, email address) via any of the following channels:

  • Fax/e-mail:  written application indicating name and surname(s), membership details (membership code or number), national ID card and date of birth stating the new details.
  • Via FC Barcelona Supporter helpline following verification of personal details for security purposes (membership code / number, national ID card, date of birth, etc.
  • In person, at the OAB offices.

We remind you that in periods prior to the renewal of the membership card (31/10-31/12 approximate dates) and to the payment of season tickets (20/05-31/07 approximate dates) it is not possible to modify the details in the club database. All requests received in these periods will be dealt with at the end of the period during which the database is blocked and you will receive confirmation by email once the changes have been entered in the system.

9. How can I update my bank account/ credit card details on the Club's data base?

As long as the cardholder is the same person as the owner of the bank account, they can modify their bank details via any of the following channels:

  • Fax/e-mail: written aplication indicating name and surname(s), membership details (membership code or number, national ID card and date of birth) and also the PIN or the last four digits of the previous bank account.
  • By FC Barcelona Supporter helpline. For security purposes the membership details will be verified (membership code / number, national ID card, date of birth, etc.) and the PIN or the last four digits of the previous bank account will be requested.
  • In person, at the OAB offices, on presentation of the cardholder’s national ID card. If the cardholder would like to authorise somebody else to carry out the transaction, said authorisation must be shownsigned by the cardholder along with photocopies of the national ID cards of both the cardholder and the authorised person.

10. I have lost my membership card. How can I get a duplicate?

If you lose your membership card, you will need to apply for a duplicate by providing the following documentation:

  • Original national ID card or other official identification document. 

In case the member wishes to delegate to some other person the duplicate request, it is compulsory to enclose an authorization signed by the member and photocopy of both IDs.

 If the loss take place during the procedures in relation with banks, a certificate from the bank must also be provided that proves and justifies that the payment has been made. In this case the duplicate is free.

 If the owner of the membership card is underage, the application form must be signed by the legal guardian, attaching the original national ID card, or other identification document.  

   Fees:

  • First duplicate in a calendar year €10 (€5 for members with an age card).
  • Second duplicate in the same year: 25% of the value of the card
  • Third duplicate in the same year: Intervention of the club’s disciplinary commission to open an investigation into the member requesting a third duplicate in order to verify the circumstances behind the situation.

In the case of duplicates sent by certified mail or messenger service, there shall be a supplementary fee of €5 to cover postage costs.

11. Do I need the card to attend matches?

Yes, in order to get onto the stadium premises you must show your membership card at the outer entrance gates.

12. You can lend the membership card to somebody else

Yes, cards can be lent to other people. The personalization of the membership card is done to find out more about the member and in order to regulate and update the membership list.

Veteran cards are personal and non transferrable, and can only be used by the cardholder.

Child and youth cards can only be used by people within this range of age.

Please remember that, as established in the Club Statutes, onerous transfer of season tickets is forbidden.

13. Can I transfer the membership card to another person?

No, this is not possible because the membership card is personal and non transferable.

14. How is the membership renewed? When is it renewed? How do I receive the new membership card?

The membership card is automatically renewed every year during the month of December:

  • For members residing in Spain or Andorra, the fee is charged by direct debit from the account designated by the member.
  • For members residing abroad, payment is made using the bank card designated by the member.

Remember that, in both cases, it is the member’s obligation to provide updated details of the bank account or credit card.  Further information on modification is available in question number 9.

The membership card will reach you in mid January via:

  • Regular mail to the postal address provided by the member with credit card in our database. Receipt of the card does not mean that payment of the fee has been made.

15. How do I change the photo on the membership card?

You can update the photo on your card:

  • By sending a photo by email (oab@fcbarcelona.cat). Please also state your personal details and code number for identification
  • In person (FCB Supporter Office).

For the photo to be updated during the renewal process, you must send the photo before 31/10. If it is sent later, the update will not come into effect until the year after unless a duplicate is ordere. You can download the aplication for a duplicate.

In the case of child and youth members, the club allows an updated photo and issue of a free duplicate free during the month of March. To do this, you must come to the OAB with the current year’s card.

16. How can I cancel my membership?

To cancel the membership, a cardholder must request this in writing. Download the cancellation form, fill it in and send it back with an attached photocopy of your national ID card.

In the case of minors, you must also attach of photocopy of the national ID card of the father, mother or legal guardian of the minor.

Once the cancellation has been made, you will receive a letter of confirmation. We remind you that the cancellation of a membership card implies the loss of all season tickets in the name of the cardholder.

We remind you that in order to cancel your membership before the renewal period you must send your request before the date of 31/10.

The request to cancel your membership can be sent by email, fax, or in person.

17. How do I report the death of a member?

The relatives of a deceased member must report the death in writing. The cancellation form should be downloaded, filled in and returned with an attached photocopy of the death certificate.

Once the cancellation has been made, you will receive a letter of confirmation. We remind you that the cancellation of a membership card implies the loss of all season tickets in the name of the cardholder.

We remind you that in order to cancel a membership before the renewal period you must send the request before the date of 31/10.

The request to cancel a membership can be sent by email, by fax, by regular mail or in person.

18. How do I get the badges (gols, silver and shining) that FC Barcelona gives to its members?

In gratitude and recognition of your loyalty to the club, FC Barcelona rewards people that have been members for 25 consecutive years with a silver badge, those that have been members for 50 consecutive years get a gold badge, and members celebrating 75 consecutive years get a gold and shining badge.

All three are presented in person by the President or a member of the board of directors, at a solemn ceremony held on the club grounds.

When the time comes, the Club will contact the members to invite them to the presentation ceremony. If any members cannot attend, the badges will be available at the Barcelona Supporter Services Office

19. What is the commitment card

In order to provide a response to the huge number of fans who want to form part of FC Barcelona as members, and as the current conditions do not allow this, supporters can register for a commitment card, and after 3 consecutive years in possession of this card, they will be able to make an application to become members of FCBarcelona.

A registration for a commitment can be made by anybody aged over 15 years that has no first degree relative that is a member.

The registration process must be conducted in person by the applicant at the Barcelona Supporter Services Office.

When the registration is made, the physical card shall be provided and shall be valid for three years, the card is automatically renewed each calendar year and charged to the holder’s account, or to the credit card of those cardholders residing abroad, as indicated at the moment that the registration was made.
