November 20 2004. Round 12 2004/05 League.
After five years without a title, Barça then found their form again under Frank Rijkaard, whose team marched on to victory despite a rash of injuries, which left Motta, Gabri and Edmilson out for quite a while. Against a conservative Madrid, who failed to get a single shot on target, Barça came out of the blocks determined to take the game by the scruff of its neck. Eto’o opened the scoring after a mix up between Casillas and Roberto Carlos, but although the two second half goals ensured a satisfying win, the bad news for Rijkaaard was another long term injury, this time to Larsson.
