February 14 1999. Round 22 1998/99 League.
Clásico 1998/99
Barça dominated the 1998/99 league campaign, although under Van Gaal they were more effective than brilliant- Madrid were not enjoying a great season and the game between the two at the Camp Nou was easily dominated by the home team. Luis Enrique scored an early opener heading in a cross from Kluivert and on 20 minutes Roberto Carlos was sent off for a bad foul on Figo. Luis Enrique then got his second with another header before Rivaldo finished off the visitors with the third after a great bit of control with his heel.
