FC BARCELONA-REAL MADRID 2-1 (1990/91)

January 19, 1991. Round 19 League 1990/91.

Under the management of Johan Cruyff, Barcelona had come to be known as the Dream Team and were on good course for the first of four consecutive championships. In that 1990/91 season, Real Madrid were engulfed in crisis, and it was Atlético rather than Real who were challenging FCB for the title. But the all-whites still managed to post an admirable performance at the Camp Nou and were only beaten by an unlucky own goal from Spasic. Barça went on to win the title with two points more than the mattress-makers, just the start of one of the most glorious periods in club history.
