Fontàs delighted to be back

After a 7-month injury, Andreu Fontàs has been training with the first team squad for some time now and is about to be declared fully fit. Naturally, he is all smiles. “I feel great, it’s a really good sensation” he said. “U have tests on Tuesday and we’ll see how things go … I have got all my enthusiasm back”.

Tough year

Fontàs, who is thoroughly dedicated to the Barça cause, expects a tough season for the team. But he says “we are training hard, and we’re going into the new season at our finest.”

He was speaking after the team’s special training session in Girona. The player, who was born in Banyoles, admitted that it has been a very special day for him to train so close to his hometown.
