FC Barcelona have the whole week to prepare for the next Saturday's match in Paris. The match against PSG will start at 19.45, instead of 20.00.
The first team completed this Monday’s training session with the seven FC Barcelona internationals that won the Euro with the Spanish national team. Valdés, Piqué, Cesc, Xavi, Iniesta, Sergio Busquets and Pedro trained with Tito Vilanova’s team for the first time after they passed this morning’s medicals. Carles Puyol, who was also present for this morning’s round of medicals, was given the green light to play.
19 first team footballers
With the arrival of the internationals, Vilanova nearly has all of the first team players at his disposal with the exception of Jordi Alba and Martín Montoya, who are currently with Spain’s Olympic football team. The manager led 19 first team players in this afternoon’s training session - including David Villa and Andreu Fontàs - and Barça B’s Oier and Sergio Roberto.
Two sessions on Tuesday
The team will hold two training sessions at the Ciutat Esportiva on Tuesday. The first session will start at 9.00, and the first 15 minutes will be open to the press. Carles Puyol hold a press conference after the session. The players will take to the pitch once again at 19.00 for a closed-door training session.
