Bartra called up by Del Bosque and could make his full international debut
Cesc Fàbregas will be out for seven days. According to a statement from the Club’s medical services, tests this Monday showed the Catalan midfielder had sprained ligaments in his right knee. Cesc will miss Spain’s upcoming international games, with hsi place to be taken by clubmate Marc Bartra.
This will be Bartra’s first full international call up after winning the European Under 21 Championships in 2011 and 2013 and could make his debut either against Equatorial Guinea (Saturday 16) or South Africa (Tuesday 19).
Marc Bartra will join Valdés, Busquets, Iniesta and Pedro in the Spanish squad
