Barça arrive in Germany

FC Barcelona are in Hamburg. The plane carrying the first-team players and managerial staff took off at 9.00 for the German city, where Barça will play its first preseason match at 18.00. The Azulgrana expedition was led by President Sandro Rosell, directors Jordi Moix and Jordi Mestre and the Director of Football Andoni Zubizarreta. The plane touched down on German soil at 11.35.

Upon arrival, the manager Tito Vilanova and the players Adriano and Alexis Sánchez held a press conference. The team will return to Barcelona after the match.

It’s worth mentioning that Leo Messi will not feature in this afternoon’s game due to an intermuscular haematoma. Vilanova named 9 first-team players to the team and 12 Barça B players.
