FCBEscola, enjoy learning to play football

This training is based in two basic ideas:

Teaching the players the basics of soccer so they can succesfully face up to the sporting challenges they might face in the future.

Transmitting the values that represent FC Barcelona: tolerance, respect, solidarity, friendship, fair play, integration, effort and happiness.

Hours and location

Duration: 15 September to 15 June.

Location: artificial gras pitches 3 and 4 (Annex Miniestadi) FC Barcelona.

Days of training:
● Monday and Wednesday: 18.00 to 19.00 or 19.00 to 20.00
● Tuesday and Thursday: 18.00 to 19.00 or 19.00 to 20.00

Match day (internal competition): satrday 9.00 to 15.00

How do we get in?

Students must pass entry trials that are carried out in April and May for the following season.

How do we work?

There are working groups of a maximum of 12 students, so that students can be actively involved during the sessions, and the coach can have a great impact on everybody's evolution.

The School follow the training methods the youth teams of the club, which consist of a serie of progressive exercices related to each stage or level of education:

Introduction (6 and 7 years). Working on coordination and motor aspects related to football.

Pre-training (8 and 9 years). Working on basic soccer techniques.

Training (10 and 11 years). Working on esentials football tactics and improvement on technical skills.

When do we play matches?

Teams play in an internal league on Saturday morning, with the objective of learning while practicing aspects worked on during training.

Some students are selected to play ni teams representing the FCBEscola in various matches and tournaments organized both nationally and internationally.
