Barça Women pose for official photo before potentially historic season finale
They won the Super Cup. They've already clinched the league. And they are now preparing for the finals of the Copa de la Reina (May 18) and UEFA Champions League (May 25). And today the Barça Women immortalised the moment in the form of the official photo shoot for the season.
They were joined for the session by club president Joan Laporta, the director responsible for women's football Xavi Puig, and members of the sports commission and the team's sporting director Marc Vivés. The venue was the Estadi Johan Cruyff, just before the Thursday training session, and with a league game against Athletic Club to come tomorrow. That game is doubling as the league victory party, with the presentation of the trophy and a number of other activities before, during and after the game.
Although the team already posed for an official photo at the beginning of the season, they wanted to do it again following certain changes to the roster and with those two big games on the way, at La Romareda, Zaragoza against Real Sociedad and at San Mamés, Bilbao against Olympique Lyon.
