Llevant 0-5 Barça: Another win!

Another victory for Jonatan Giráldez' Barça side, making it eight in March alone. Today's match was at the Ciutat de València stadium where Levante were beaten 0-5. The blaugranes remain top of the league with 64 points going into the international break. Bruna (2), Salma (2) and Martina were the goalscorers in this dominant win.

Early blaugrana goal

It took just four minutes for Jonatan Giráldez' side to make it 0-1. Top quality positional passing saw Salma slide a ball across the goal that simply needed Bruna Vilamala to touch it into the net at the far post. The side may have had some new faces given the recent Champions League game, but they quickly assumed control of the match.

Lead doubled

Alexia Putelles went close to making it 0-2, but keeper Tarazona thwarted her effort. Vicky López in turn stopped Levante from scoring before showing her attacking prowess with a beautiful ball over the top for Salma to score for 0-2.

Bruna and Salma grab braces

Tarazona did her best, but the blaugranes were in the groove, Salma and Bruna again both scoring after the break. The former again provided the assist for the latter, who this time fired in an unstoppable shot, while Salma profited from a loose ball in the box to make it 0-4.

FC Barcelona wanted more goals, and Martina duly obliged after making the most of good work by Marta Torrejón at the far post after a free-kick. Final score 0-5 and a 21st league win for Barça before the international break.
