Cata Coll, Ingrid Engen and Ona Batlle meet a multitude of fans at Canaletes Barça Store

FC Barcelona fans give the three players a warm welcome before a ‘Meet&Greet’ with photos and signings

The first Barça Women's 'Meet&Greet' of the year took place today at the Canaletes Barça Store on the famous La Rambla in Barcelona's city centre. Fans were able to meet Cata Coll, Ingrid Engen and Ona Batlle in person, with hundreds of fans waiting to welcome them at the entrance before the in-store event.

Cata, Engen and Ona again showed the warmth that pervades through Jonatan Giráldez' squad as they spent the session chatting with fans, as well as having photos taken and signing autographs.

The event was also attended by the Director responsible for women's football, Xavi Puig, and comes just two days before the UEFA Women's Champions League quarter-final return leg against SK Brann at the Estadi Johan Cruyff on 28 March (kick-off 6.45pm CET).

UWCL quarter-final return leg with music, games, and competitions with Barça prizes

The fans at the Estadi Johan Cruyff can expect to be entertained by the blaugranes again on Thursday as they contest for a semi-final spot against the Norwegian side. A tough first leg away from home saw Jonatan Giráldez' side come away with a 1-2 win, and the return leg is likely to be as intense.

The gates open at 5.45pm CET and the now traditional warm up activities will be on show, with a DJ spinning the tunes, the regular MC livening up proceedings, games on the scoreboard, and competitions with Barça prizes taking place in the run up and at half-time during the game. The legendary jersey shower will also take place at the break too.

The flagship Canaletes Barça Store

Located at La Rambla 124 in Barcelona, the Canaletes Barça Store and its three floors occupy 1,900 m2 of space, housing a whole host of official Club products, ranging from sportswear to all types of gifts. This store is very special, however, both for its location and historical context, and for its concept, as it was conceived to be a space to feel the complete Barça experience, with the aim of driving innovation and new technologies in the retail sector.
