Real Sociedad 1-7 Barça: Comfortable win in San Sebastian

The Liga F returned with Barça Femení looking fantastic at Zubieta to remain unbeaten and way on top of the league table. What with the international break and the Copa de la Reina it's been a while since we had a game in this competition, with Salma Paralluelo the heroine with four goals on the day that Alexia Putellas was back from injury and contributed a goal of her own.

Real Sociedad hadn't lost for nine games, but Barça are another kettle of fish, and 15 minutes into the game Vicky López refiled home the opener.

But then it was time for the Paralluelo show. She opened her account on 22 minutes, then converted a Graham cross just two minutes later and then completed her hat-trick just before half-time from a direct free kick. Shortly after the restart she grabbed a fourth from an Ona Batlle cross.

Graham then made it six before Alexia marked her return from a 117 absence to injury by adding a seventh, with Amaiur Sarriegi sneaking a late consolation goal fro the home side. 

With 18 wins and just one draw, Barça are flying high at the top of the league and are next in action in the second leg of the cup semi-final this Thursday at 9pm, where they have a 3-goal head start against Athletic Club at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
