Focused on LaLiga

Time to look ahead as Xavi Hernández' side have a hugely important LaLiga match on the horizon, no less than El Clásico at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. FC Barcelona could be just five points behind leaders Real Madrid at the end of the matchday. 

As such, every available blaugrana trained today with the focus fully on the game against Real Madrid (Sunday 21 April, kick-off 9.00pm CEST). The session was held on the Tito Vilanova pitch, with Olmedo from Barça Atlètic also joining in, as the players returned to work after a day off.

The blaugranes will come in for a final session on 20 April, before travelling to Madrid for the test awaiting them. 

Recognition for Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsí

Furthermore, two La Masia talents were able to pose for photos with their LaLiga March awards today. Lamine Yamal won the award for best LaLiga goal in March, which he received for his wonderful effort against Mallorca at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. Pau Cubarsí's award was for the best U-23 player in LaLiga in March, with the central defender's stats and actions during the month leaving no doubt he was the right recipient.
